Effective tips on how to quit smoking marijuana.

Marijuana addiction is a dangerous situation to be in, both for your body and your relationships with others. As far as your body is concerned, prolonged use of marijuana can contribute to lung and breathing problems, and could possibly cause cancer. If a person becomes so dependent on the drug that he/she will choose it over anything, relationships with spouses, family members, and friends could become strained. Getting help to quit marijuana is the best decision you can make when you are in such a situation.

The first step toward quitting marijuana is acknowledging your addiction. As with all other addicts, no help is going to be effective unless you will admit there is a problem. Talk to someone you can trust about your desire to quit marijuana, and how you plan to do so. They can help you stay clean by holding you accountable for your actions. Many marijuana addicts relapse within the first few months of trying to break the habit, so having someone help you along the way is greatly more effective than attempting to quit marijuana alone.

Another consideration to help you quit smoking marijuana is to detoxify your body. There are products available to help rid your body of THC (the main ingredient of marijuana) faster than waiting on your system to do it naturally. For some people, natural detoxification can take days. Detoxing yourself can lower your chances of the unwanted marijuana withdrawal symptoms, such as irritability, anxiety, loss of appetite, and insomnia.

A third course of action to take when trying to rid yourself of marijuana smoking is to enroll in a treatment program. There are many drug rehabilitation centers around the world that have programs for recovering marijuana addicts. Getting help with the assistance of other people that feel your pain is very effective in staying away from the drug. These treatments may last several weeks, and you will be praised for your ability to resist the urge to smoke.

In conclusion, marijuana addiction can be hard to control, and even more difficult to stop. Admit that you have a problem, and reach out for help. Detoxify your body if it is necessary to help you cope with the symptoms of withdrawal. Join a marijuana treatment group or center for additional assistance. Taking the correct steps in the right direction will help you rid yourself from the grasp of THC.

Marijuana causes cancer? No it doesn't. Don't make things up when you are writing a professional article. There's no such thing as a dependence on cannabis, either. There is no physical addiction associated with cannabis usage. Therefore, there is no dependence, if you understand basic bio-chemistry.

Actually, one can and will become dependent on Marijuana if smoked for a prolonged period of time. There are many factors that may contribute to dependence and addiction to Marijuana. In my personal experience, it DOES happen. I have tried to quit on multiple occasions. By the second day I experience mild physical symptoms but extremely increased psychological symptoms. I suffer from depression, anxiety, bipolar, and an Eating Disorder. I am medicated to the point where I function very well. The moment I eliminate Marijuana I go off the deep end. I love it and hate it at the same time. Please dont feel embarrassed or scared to admit you are addicted. It does happen. In fact, the DSM-V ( diagnostic statistical manual of psycological disorders) will be including marijuana withdrawal as a diagnoses. So dont doubt those who claim to be addicted.
